One recent change I made on my KTM 990 Adventure was swapping the original 'magura' clutch slave cylinder, with one from 'oberon' (UK based). It's made better, it looks better and it works better. Around 170 Euros inc Post.
Last summer I took my 690 enduro from Greece to Austria. There I took place in a KTM Alpine enduro tour. I would recommend this to everyone. Although the 690 was hard on the freeway, in the mountain passes it was superb. I hope to take the DaKar this year through Europe. So far its been around Greece: City,freeway or twisty mountain passes, it just shines!
